You can tell if the pocket (oil or water) is connected to the pipe by looking at the "nodes" on the pipes - big dots are connected, small dots are not.

If a price for petrol/oil is terrible and going down, you can change the corp to the other resource just to get info on that resource’s going price *also applies to other circumstances where you're not planning on selling for a while (eg. if the price at the other corp is amazing)

On the second bid you paid to locate a land with an absurd amount of water, so it didn't really matter there as you only sold oil, then only sold petrol. It's most relevant at lands like the first map, where not everything becomes petrol and you want to be sure to know the best price for both oil and petrol simultaneously.

if you want to transfer oil from refinery to refinery, would it be possible by setting some carts to sell oil, waiting for them to withdraw it from the refineries and then cancelling that? would they sit around with oil in their cart or would they try to dump it in a refinery again (preferably one with water)?

would be better if you could somehow transfer water itself. Like maybe the counter thats over the left and right inc and put it over the refinery. Or closed pipe makes the water pump out instead of closing flow

I'd like to see Tyler play Adventures in the Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment. It has a half decent trading system. If he found a great route, I could see him becoming a galactic scale trader.
