HOLY SHIT, RUSTY LAKE, I AM HYPED! Also, there are more games, and all of them connect to the original 9 of this collection. Also, each game/collection has missable achievements that add to the universe and the story. Can’t wait until you get to games like Rusty Lake Roots or Rusty Lake paradise. As you get further into the series, you will see just how insane the timeline of events really is. There are 11 standalone games in the series, plus the 9 in this collection for a total of 20 games in the series, plus a short film that relates to one game’s second half and 2 ARGs for two different games’ secret achievements and endings. Also, Rusty Lake is both the studio and the series. And as a final addendum, all of the games in this collection were originally flash games released on Kongregate back in the day.

The first couple Cube Escape games are definitely a bit janky at times, but there are some real gems later on once the developers have figured out the formula. I especially recommend Rusty Lake Roots, Rusty Lake Paradise and Cube Escape Paradox

One of my favourite game series, hope to see you play them all. I think the dev put out an "recommended play order" list somewhere if you get confused which to play next, which i think is mostly, if not fully, in release order. There are some secrets that are even needed for achievements in some of them, which require codes from previous games, or even future ones if i am not mistaken, I don't expect you to get 100% without a guide, but just playing through the games' main puzzles and getting that lore is super worth

Rusty Lake is such an interesting series. You will be finding yourself returning to previous games to solve meta puzzles in future games, and past games as well. The series was well thought out since Early Games have alternate solutions that future games hint to, such as a second combination for the safe in the nightstand. And savingg Harvey from being killed is extremely important for the overall story.

I love those old adventure games. I have one recomendation - game named "Still There". I am not sure if it will be great fit for you. But it is deduction game that I really loved. It has like 5 hours of game time but is also story based. Game is about deducting how to operate different machines only with non descriptive manual in a remote space station.
