Think about it like throwing a ball. If you throw at the same angle and change the speed, the trajectory of the ball also changes. I love that it gets faster as you upgrade it as it makes it easier to imagine a straight line instead of a curved one. Do love the synergy with summoning circle. Just wait until he get's the lazorb

They recently changed how the block pegs (like in the minotaur elite map) work so that sliding feels more consistent and it absolutely shows even with a splatorb messing with peg physics. That elite went from one of my least favorite in the forest to actually really enjoyable so quick, lol.

Minotaur was your least favourite forest elite? I preferred it because it's less damage you have to do (550 is less than the 750 and like 900ish from shooter thing and slime) and you aren't taking damage every turn or getting attacks all enemies checked.

Also just a note for the editors, the relic Axe Me Anything got changed this patch to where instead of dealing full damage to resistances, it instead does double damage, treating them as weaknesses. It's also a rare relic instead of a common relic now (not a big fan of that change, as there's only 4 enemy types that have resistances in the first place, so it's still very very situational)

Oh! Having played the update, I've actually gotten use outta the IOU before! Just gonna put it under a read more thing to not spoil folks who don't wanna be spoiled: If you meet up with the gambler again in another random event, he gives you a return on your investment, somewhere around 3x as much money as you put in. I don't know if it has any hidden effects besides simply giving you a return on your investment, though.

IOU only works if you meet up with the Gamble Peglin a 2nd time, which happens rarely. If you invest the first encounter you get a giant return on the second encounter. It’s about as likely as delivering the egg to Peglin Chef, but its not impossible

eh there is the downside of if you shoot it at start it will just eat up all the pegs for next shot. its only really useful if you got a bunch of low damage orbs and/or durable pegs

@dom7899 That's literally the best time to use it. The more it eats up, the more extra damage you get every time those pegs are hit again. Sure, it doesn't do much when you can win in 3 shots, but if you're going to be refreshing the board a few times, especially with the multi ball he runs with, then it gets you doing a bunch more damage overall.

Harder to use, but with upside: 1) it makes the generated multiball follow a different path than it, making refreshing the board before firing the copy be necessary in fewer situations 2) increased speed tends to give increased bounces, which is increased damage.

It's very specific but that axe me anything pop up was really good editing, a lot of the times the pop ups are like cool for newer viewer/players or returning after a while, but this is really nice because you recognise relics and descriptions but just the name often isn't enough to know what tyler means. 27:40 Actually, it wasn’t the Puppet that blocked the Super Sapper’s attack. Do you see those blue slime pegs you created? That is ‘damage reduction’ slime from the new Balleviation orb. Each instance of ‘reduction slime’ decrease damage taken by 1 (doesn’t work mid flight). Then it goes away at the start of your next shot. Pretty hard to use, but has some uses… Particularly when you have Rigged Bombs. (Yes, it can reduce the self-damage from Rigged Bombs!)

The info cards are super helpful and before the cards were a thing I often had to pause and rewind to see what Tyler was getting. It's a very cool new orb! Doesn't feel too ridiculously strong like some others, but the force multiplier could be interesting in some cases (lasorb maybe?) I still think this game could use a different sort of multiball though- where each orb is fired separately, rather than merging their damage into one shot. Would give a sort of soft overwhammer effect, and also could synergise with on-hit effects. Plus it would just be plain fun. Always happy to see more of this game!

I still stand by my suggestion of suporbposition, you choose two directions to fire and two quantum orbs fire in those directions, the damage number is whichever one gets more. Upgrades increase the number of quantum orbs and there could even be a boss relic that gives that to all orbs in exchange for a stat debuff or losing a refresh or something
