Damn, I wouldn’t expect Dell to be this out of touch with their monitor market (which they have been killing). 30-series can absolutely slap 1080p around like nothing, but excluding esports-related features Is very odd… I’m under the suspicion that this model was drastically delayed and was only recently released. Sucks to see, but maybe Dell can step it up next time. Would love to see them take on Mini-LED for their next flagship gaming product.

Good points on the monitor on the black frame insertion. The old and new BenQ has Dyac and it makes the images so got damn clear. I’m surprised the Alienware hasn’t done anything like that. It would be a day 1 buy for me

After testing this monitor, it does a lot of things well. Black frame insertion was never really useful on any past monitors that i have tried as it tanks the brightness. For $319 you can not find a better 360hz panel.

I have the monitor. Runs great. Going to use it for my PC whenever I make it. The few games that I did test on 120 fps was great. The monitor should be around $250. I would give the console mode a B-. @@Decki777

@@sasuke2536 agreed black frame insertion is beyond overrated and destroys the brightness of the display. This review doesn't do justice to how well tuned this monitor is. You can use the extreme preset with no ghosting or inverse ghosting. And it is ridiculously responsive.

dude the Alienware one is cheaper now and its obvious that is faster than the ASUS but somebody have to test the HDR performance in both , the stand in the Alienware is way better I'm sure you notice it and since the sus one can reach over 500 nits people will consider it but we all know that Alienware don't put ELMB in their monitor because their gonna use it i mean YOU CAN FREESYNC OR G SYNC with that soo that feature doesn't have reason no to exist just the hardcore one that plays in a crt frustrated to win a match in those competitive game becuase they think that an advantage when is not worth it

Not worth it. Just get the Acer Xv252qf or Aopen 390hz(same monitor just two different brandings depending on where you live) it's superior in every way. And I think it's cheaper for some people if not everyone

But for me I’ll spend the $30 less and get the new Alienware 25 that has been updated with an au optronics panel. Which they did an amazing job with tuning. But again absolutely, if you you want black frame insertion then you go with tue acer

You can! But you'll be limited to 120hz - I would maybe look at another option. AW2724DM is a similar price, slightly bigger and 1440p Resolution so itll be sharper for you on the PS5

Alright, when you try it yourself and it’s a little slower when you move your mouse, that’s on you🤣 LCD’s it can make a big difference. Literally equivalent to playing a game on a TV on standard mode VS game mode
