Awesome 3m boats. A 9.9 is underpowered though and the nose trimmed down. Trim nose up slightly and put a 15hp and you have a rocket ship that really can go offshore. Guys in Australia do it all the time. That's one nasty bar though. Well done !

The cut was not running when you went through it - When the cut is running your little boat would in the middle of two 7 ft waves you would be looking up at as you come through the cut - plus right affer you clear the waves you hit a current that would stop your forward momentum until your little engine could push it through. I don't think the 9.9 would do it!

It has to be said. You picked a wimpy day at Haulover. I have watched hours of boat being washed under and people ejected into the ocean at Haulover. The boat did well thats reality but the sea was your friend today.

Nasty secret of Haulover is that is is mostly like this! The other channels spend weeks filming just to get those boats that look like they are going under and never do! Like for real that content is as fake as hell it all depends on the angles too, watch this video closely you will see that from far away it looks like our boat is next to the big boat but in reality it is far away

Alex I think I saw a center console made out of the same stuff or maybe something else but it was plastic & at a distance it looked just like a fiberglass boat lol but it was pricy.so as for Me being poor at that price I'm going have to try waiting a few years to hope there's a used one in good shape lol I can't wait to long because I'm already 56 years old my wife is 55 still fighting stage 4 cancer we're hoping & 🙏 praying to beat the cancer. @@joesmith4222 I still wouldn't cross haulover in a 12ft vhull! Those small vhulls are not made for these big waves, the tuffy on the other hand is wider, has a unique hull designed for offshore, plus the material is boyant itself, the tuffy will not sink!

@@dred5375 cause america makes shit boats if you grab a tinny (ally boat) from Australia you can cross big swell and waves ive got a little tinny 3.5miters with a 15hp and crossed my bar (a inlet) many times even in 4ft waves just requires skill and knowledge. go watch some australian bar crossing videos you will see the waves we cross. americans are just full show offs who dont know much

Me think he doth protest too too much.... Haulover at its calmest... Polycraft Tuff Tender would take on Haulover at it worst. I had one for 4 years in Australia with a 15hp Yammie 2 stroke - just flies. Safe, ultra stable, dry, unsinkable, huge fun. Very high demand used her in Australia. Some people use these for offshore fishing... Now have a larger Smartwave 3500 with 25 hp. Also plastic fantastic.
