I’d love to see you do something with the flower gels and butterfly/flower stickers/decals….. oh and the sweater gels. Love your talent so I guess I should just say all of them lol

You are too kind 😊 Ooooh, I love this idea for some upcoming spring designs! I think the sweater gels are a fabulous idea for right now though!!! 🤩 Thank you SO very much for helping me to pick out my next filming project! I've got some cool Korean Sweater gels to compare with as well, and the creative juices are starting to simmer, lol.

Im in need of gel polish something serious... What kind of deals can you get on Black Friday as far as the Korean gels are concerned? Are the savings significant? Im a beginner and on a very limited budget but im having trouble with making my decision on which way to go for now if that makes sense... Lol
@loveyournailsbydawn22 күн бұрын
Black Friday is IDEAL for sales as far as I've found. I typically save for the year and stock up then. Last year I saved $1000's buying everything during the Black Friday deals as many had 25% off sales or more. In my experience they are the biggest savings deals that I've come across as most stores have maximum 20% during the rest of the year, unless it's a limited brand sale or something. Some places like Zillabeau also have extra goodies depending on how much you spend. Last year I got a really nice goodie package as well as a great rechargeable Efile, but I did spend over $600 to get them I think. If you have a limited budget and are just starting out with Korean gels I would steer clear of the super expensive brands like Tiny, Dvok, Fiote, Mayour, Dgel, etc and look to the more reasonable ones like Jin.B and Yogurt Nail Korea. I really love their quality, it seems just as good as the others, and price per ml is much easier on the wallet. Ablliz is cheaper as well, but I was not very impressed with most of their formulas and wouldn't recommend them too much. I advise to look at the ml per bottle for your pricing (as they can range from 7-15ml which makes for very different price points) and ask around for cheaper brands that people like. Also, what is it that's drawing you specifically to Korean brands? I've come across some really nice CHEAP syrup sets on AliExpress. I do find that the formulas can be more hit and miss, many of them are more glass or sheer than syrup, or a little too opaque to be considered truly syrup. But some of them I still found close enough and really nice to work with.

@@loveyournailsbydawn if you have a few mins to spare would you mind sharing a few good but affordable syrup gel brands? its not specifically Korean brands that I want right now... I just want some beautiful syrup gels and I'm really just not a good shopper so I guess buying Korean would kinda take the guess work out of it... Does that make sense? Lol

I would be more than happy to. If you DM me on Instagram @loveyournailsbydawn It might be easier to chat back and forth about what exactly you're looking for and any products that might work best. Like what colors are you looking for and what are you looking to do with them? Would you prefer sets or individual colors. Is it for yourself or clients? Yogurt Nail Kr. has a gorgeous set of Nudes and Pinks that I find I often reach for as an excellent base color especially for french tips.

If you check out my latest upload there is a great cheap Syrup Gel Collection from AliExpress that I compare to a Jin.B Syrup Gel Collection. I find that the cheap brands can still look really good, but often are either a bit more glass looking than a syrup or a bit more opaque than I would like.

How much was your total from Ali express?
@loveyournailsbydawn9 ай бұрын
😱 Dang, thanks for the reminder!!! The total was $190 Canadian, or about $140 USD. The 2 bigger box sets were $27 & $34 CDN, so they took up a big chunk of the bill. Do you find it helpful if the prices were displayed on the video during each product, or maybe added to the video description with the product links? 🤔
@astridlittle12709 ай бұрын
That would be really nice! Cuz I’d love to buy some of the products but don’t wanna get my hopes up incase it’s really pricey! Thank you so much for replying tho!

where did you get your gloves??
@loveyournailsbydawn9 ай бұрын
Amazon, I only buy 10mil and up because that's the lowest thickness that will protect you from chemical allergens. You MUST remember to change them if you get Acetone on them though, as it will eat through the gloves and make you vulnerable to chemicals seeping in. That's what sets my allergies off every time. I use acetone to clean my stamping plates and some splashes onto my gloves by accident, if I don't notice, I will often end up with a reaction 😥

@@FlawlesslyUniqueNails have you been tested for HEMA (the most common culprit) or any of the other chemicals in gel and other products? If not, that is likely your issue if you're experiencing contact dermatitis.
