I just received my first order from Zillabeau, so excited to finally try the Jello Jello One Kill system. I have been making my own press on nails while I was waiting for my delivery. I cannot wait to try it and change out my mani's more frequently without having to use too much acetone. I'm super new to using gel-x systems, next I need to build the courage to get into using my nail e-file/drill. I'm still too scared.

I love Zillabeau! I also buy from Sweetie Nail Supplies but Zillabeau is my favorite. I get their packages in two days which is crazy to me and only helps fuel my addiction. 😂 I just bought the Izemi Cotten Candy Collection and they are so beautiful! They make my pastel loving heart happy lol. At first I wasnt interested in the Fiote ink fit collection because I wasn't sure how I could use it for the kind of designs that I make but I was watching Zillabeau's live yesterday and I saw some of the examples that the nail tech made with the collection and now I need it immediately. 😆 I'm not crazy about neon colors but since the forumula is reminiscent of watercolor paint/ ink, I think I can work with it. Thank you for showing us some of your collection! I'm so excited to see some of your nail designs! 💖💖

16:25 I have two aurora solid gels. It has four colours. One is the same purple and a light green and a coral orang and one shimmer gold. The packaging says A&E but I am pretty sure it is fake and made in china. It is really good and pretty though. I mean it is amazingly beautiful like an actual aurora.❤

Hi James! I would like to know your opinion on the safety of doing acrylics, gel, uv lamps ect. at home. I'm reading worrying articles about people getting allergic to acrylics (and that would be a disaster if you think about all the stuff that has acrylics in them), and the fact that the lamps could be dangerous for the skin and the actual nails after a long time using it. So I'm getting scared to try. My daughter would like to be a nail artist when she grow up, but I'm scared know 🙄 What should I do?

Thanks! Okay so long story short, UV lamps are perfectly safe but you can always wear UV gloves or sunscreen. The main reason people develop allergies is because of poor technique and the products overly touching the skin, flooding cuticles and side walls and product going under the nails beds etc. applying acrylic or gels to damaged skin can also increase the chance of allergies. I’m not sure about acrylic but gel doesn’t ruin nails / thin them etc. it’s usually poor removal techniques and being too aggressive with a file that makes them weak and thin. I would recommend having a builder gel base on your nails. That way, the nail designs can be filed away to the builder gel which will act as a protective layer. Hope that makes sense?!

Hi James, love a good nail haul!! A few things, the first marble nail, some gold veins going through it would be great, that textured gel, great for making tweed nails, have fun!!!!! OH! Have an extra top coat ut aside for chromes and glitter so you don't contaminate your others.😁

I know everyone says izemi and aurora Queen for glitter but I love love love tiny gel. I’ve demoed a lot of zillas products in my channel and by far my favorite are Fiote and tiny gel. I know you just got your license another great thing to do is specialize by getting brand certifications. Not all certifications are created equal though so be careful. I had to get the Jello Jello peel off base (obviously!) and then I basically ordered a nude syrup gel polish from, like, 4 different brands to see which one I like best. I was kinda bummed that a lot of individual polishes were sold out so you could only get them if you ordered the full set, but I'll just have to keep my eye out for restocks!

@@neophytenails In Australia, yes. Boring, but long nails are a risk to patients because they can scratch, etc, also can break through gloves. Nail polish is great for flaking off into wounds and don’t get me started on how disgustingly germy acrylics and gels are 🤢

Heyyyy! Mainly because my reaction cleared up. I didn’t use any gels but one day cleaned my brushes and got a reaction again! I also got a reaction when I over prepped my nails! Clipping and Russian e file manicure made my skin so damaged (even though I couldn’t see) and the gels got into open wounds and caused a reaction!

Getting product on the skin, over filing the nails, heat spikes (so the lamps too hot, the nail bed is thin or the gels too thick and you feel a burning sensation on the nail whilst in the lamp) can cause reactions, it’s always advised to use the same brand products, so same lamp, top and base coat as well as the gel polishes
