You should have finished up with a shot of one or two hours later. That’s where the quality will show.. I love a good day lume as well. Watches without lume are not alive.

"watches without lume are not alive". I agree. It's hard to romanticize a watch that isn't useful in the dark. If not for missing lume, I think my grail watch would be one of a few models of Grand Seiko. But I just can't own a watch without lume.
