I've ordered a few items for my TRK from AliExpress, but what I try and steer clear of it the items that have "TRK502", "TRK" and "Benelli" printed on them. I know it's a Benelli TRK502; it just makes the bike look silly. I've had no issues when ordering parts, but the time taken for delivery can be a bit long coming to Australia. Cheap cost or quick delivery...you can't have both!

I suppose its all down to personal taste. What is one man's pleasure is another man's poison. The only downside with AliExpress is if you need to return an item I should imagine it could be a bit difficult due to the distance and postage costs. Ride safe 👍

👍. Most things I have considered. I have ordered a low seat and and oil filter. Both came in a round 11 days. More than happy. Got some folding levers. Again fastish delivery. Didn't fit though. Clutch lever completely wrong. Now haggling over refund.

@@BikeRiderReviews no joy with levers. They offered a $2 refund. Haven't heard anything since. Another item I ordered , didn't arrive. Got refund for that. AliExpress generally OK. Had similar experiences with ebay when bought items from China. Levers are pot luck. Sometimes they fit Sometimes they don't.

What have you fitted if you drop the bike without the panniers fitted and no crashbar. I followed your lead and got the stand plate, the oil filler cap the brake fluid protector so I value your advice.

Thanks for checking out the channel. As long as you have good hand guards to protect the levers, the factory fitted crash bars should protect the rest of the bike. I hope this helps, ride safe 🙏

All practically useful items. Thanks for sharing. The subtitles however do not exactly conform to the spoken words occasionally. Not a problem though, yet I was a bit startled to read about the front brake reservoir cover that, " it "leaks" really well.." which actually was it "looks" really well..so had to listen to it again to substantiate.. will definitely order one. Thanks again..

Appreciate your video..... But why weren't you comparing prices against factory Benelli accessories.? On my BMW 1250gs I wanted a low seat - abt $900 from BMW - I paid $97 from AliExpress. Looks identical and just got back from 550km day and seat was very comfortable.

I've had bits for my TRk from Ali....it's a bit hit and miss on import duties and vat, of 6 items a bought only 1 got taxed (typical luck it was the most expensive item) in which case it's almost the same price as a big European supplier.... everything else was fine and as you said much cheaper

Thanks for checking out the review. As of yet I have never been taxed on anything I've bought. I suppose even if one in 6 items gets taxed its worth the risk looking at how much hou can save on the majority of goods. Ride safe 👍

They have added the import tax as part of the price now. Its comes to almost the same price as a European or UK supplier.

Most helmets on Ali Express are DOT approved, DOT is not recognised as a safety item in the UK only ECE is approved. So do watch out for this as if the police stop you, it is £1000 fine i have been told.

Wondering if you have done much pillion carrying on the TRK? I'm considering downsizing from my Honda Crosstourer as I find it very top heavy and excessively overweight. Im wondering if the TRK would be capable of some light 2 up touring. Would it have the power for that?

Thanks for checking out the review. To be honest as my wife also has her own motorbike i have not carried a passenger on the TRK. I get asked this question often and hope to have a review of what the bike is like two up coming to the channel in the future. It is a difficult question to answer in your case as coming down from the power of the crosstourer it would depend on what your expectations are. I also came down from a big bike (pan european ST1100) and although I havent rode the TRK 2 up I feel it would be OK for normal riding but in a touring situation also loaded with full panniers and a top box I'm guessing I personaly may find it a little under powered. I have to stress I am only guessing and perhaps someone coming up from a smaller capacity bike would find it fine touring 2 up. As I said it depends on your expectations. Another thing to mention is although the TRK is only 500cc it is also a tall heavy bike so you may not get as much benifit from the weight side of things as you expect. Sorry I cannot give you a definite answer. If you look on FaceBook there are some TRK owner pages, it may be worth asking on there as I'm sure someone will be able to give you some advice. Unfortunately no. The bars are pretty easy to get now. Depending on what you want to pay and how soon you want them. AliExpress is the cheapest but delivery is slow however they are also available on Amazon and eBay but you will pay more money. 👍
