Got mine through musiclilly for the bridge spot = killer. Also have switches for phase reverse and in series/parallel with hot humbucker bridge. Bass can can lose some calrity dependgn on effects selections, but my bridge tone has a tone cutout switch also, so with both pickups selected I can always fix tht up as wanted. I can go from death metal to mellow jazz, what with effects. Best bargain ever and the first on one of fhtree different cheap quads that acted right.

@Juanter3 жыл бұрын
Well, they are different beasts really, the MusicOne Dimebucker copies were just straight up high gain metal, really nice gain management without being fuzzy or spiky, the FLEOR humbucker is the one i'd say is better, really nice sound, versatile as hell and really nice sounding coil split. This is definitely the hotter, if have a guitar that won't chug, it will with this, it sounds great for metal but it has the versatility of being two humbuckers in one basically. Depending on the osunds you want

Excellent explanation of coil splitting. Alot of people confuse coil splitting for coil tapping... in further detail, a coil split is grounding the signal at the start or finish of one coil keeping the other one "on." Usually the south coil gets grounded while the North coil remains active. And since the pickup using still in phase, the hum is still canceled. So its got the single coil type sound without the noise.
@Juanter2 жыл бұрын
In the case of this pickup since it's two hotrails it pretty much just turns one of the hotrails off and you get no actual coil splitting lmao
@hadleymanmusic3 жыл бұрын
