That they do. Including this one, I own 9 basses and they are all different in some way. I'll do a new vid later down the track once I get some new pickups are these ones are aweful and put some new strings on it.

Iv'e always liked the rd shape but never got one for two reasons. 1. Too expensive 2. Too heavy. Is that copy light weight? ..looks really nice.

I actually find that the copy is heavier than the original, and the real RD is a heavy bass (much heavier than my thunderbird). I was lucky and picked up my Gibson for $1000au second hand locally, but I would love an original 70s model.

I have a real Gibson RD and I like it. I am 50 but still in amazing shape so the 14lb weight does not bother me. These basses were never popular at all, so why would China copy them ?

I to have a real Gibson Rd, but the rereleased Krist Novoselic model. I remember seeing this shaped bass in Marilyn Manson's video Coma White and was hooked on the shape. The ones china are copying are the KN models with the jazz pups. I had this one customised with HBs and all the controls. This one weighs more than my Gibson Thunderbird but doesn't roar the same.

@@BridesGothic The KN models are the best in my opinion . I was just messing around with my 2018 RD Artist series tonight and that low-end roar is crazy ! On the Chin Copy you got, those pickups and strings are trash. I think you put in some Stingray or Thunderbird Gibson pups and some Labella Deep Talkin Flats and you sound like Steve Harris on Steroids ! Cheers and keep the vids coming mate !

@@kazmaitalia8796 thanks man. I haven't really done too much with this bass since I got it sadly. Still got the same strings and pickups. I have been thinking of dropping in some emgs but finding some for a good price here is a bit of a challenge. I was really wanting on the of the 2018 reissued RDs they are so much more like the original 70s models but with a modern punch.
