where can we learn more plow or max creation graph? There is close to none information directly out there.

Unfortunately Autodesk don’t care about PFlow and it’s users, that’s why I migrated completely to Houdini

Great tutorial...one question though. When I do it, I get some jagged flippy rotation on some of the particles, ususally the ones that are "upside down", or in this case, on the lower hemisphere of the sphere. Is this normal? do you get this, and if so, do you know of a solution? Regardless, it's an AMAZING technique, thank you very very much.

Great tutorial! Thank you very much :) I need your help master ;) Do you know how to make the particles unaffected by the movement of the object on which they are? Thanks

Alvaro, thanks for these tutorials. I have a question regarding how to rotate the aligned shape instance along y or x axis. I tried using spin and rotation but they resulted in variable rotation on each objects instead of similar rotation. Hope you can suggest some answers.

Wonderful Tutorial Alvaro! Could you do this but also deform the vertices of a mesh over a period of time?
@ParticleSkull9 жыл бұрын
+Mark Quinn Glad you like it Mark. I think it would work just fine with animated mesh. Did you gave it a try? /Alvaro
@Shawhir9 жыл бұрын
Hey Alvaro - I did and it did work for many modifiers - mine seems to be a little trickier though. Let's say we animate the verts of the sphere from a flat plane shape to a spherical shape using melt and edit poly animate - all the particles don't keep their normals and point in one direction.

i am too late but -> lock it on emitter on position object and turn on animated shape

Hey this is awesome, would you know how I would go about doing this in Maya 2017? I'm really stuck and cant find the solution or where to even look :(

Hi, thanks for these tutorials. I'm trying to combine the align to Normals with procedural animated particles (legs), but something strange happens and they flip out changing angle randomly. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? (apparently Lock/Bond has something to do with it, but I'm not sure)

very interesting thanks, im just starting to learn about data operators could you suggest where to start and what to start learning?
@ParticleSkull10 жыл бұрын
Hey Eli, there's this great Autodesk MasterClasses introducing a lot of Data Operator content. I've learned a lot from there: area.autodesk.com/masterclasses/masterclass/class3_q2_AnselmVonSeherr-Thoss_Advanced_mParticles_and_Data_Manipulation

hii if i want my particles to move inside the surface how to approach that..for example inside a box not outside the surface
@ParticleSkull9 жыл бұрын
+naveen kosanam Hey, you should try to uncheck the "Restrict to Surface" option on the Lock Bond. At 10:07. Best, Alvaro
@nani22451209 жыл бұрын
+Particle Skull i tried it but the particles are blowig out of it.. simply whant i want is particles should move only inside the box not outside
@Mr1ManArmy697 жыл бұрын
Try to invert normals on the box. Or change pivot on particle instance object.

You need to install the 2013's Subscription updated in order to get Data Operators and mParticles. However i'm not sure how you can find it right now man. /Alvaro
