Did you ever feel bored on the resort? Did they have excursions on resort or do you have to seaplane everywhere? Obviously that’s would get expensive quick.

We only stayed three nights and when we were leaving, I said I wish we were staying one or two more. I think 4-5 nights is ideal unless you are really good at relaxing. I can’t sit by the beach all day and read personally. We were busy everyday, there are excursions that go right out of the resort you can snorkel every day out of your room there’s cooking classes and and Mixology classes, the spa is incredible. So much to do!

Great review!!! We are heading to Alila January 2025, and also Park Hyatt (3 nights each). I heard beach villa in Alila is “better”. Would you say so? Did you have the chance to checks the beach villas? Also, if you are a globalist, would they upgrade your room for free if it’s available? Thanks a lot for the video it’s amazing!

Thanks for the feedback 😊 The beach villas are pretty spectacular as well…I personally think of overwater villas when I think Maldives and really wanted that experience, but I don’t think you can go wrong with either. Yes, they will upgrade you for free to the overwater villa if there is one available, January is a high season however, so not sure if the hotel will be sold out? Hoping I can check out the park Hyatt as well in the future! Enjoy, I really miss it. Such an incredible experience and place.

222, it was the second to last villa and had the perfect sunrise views 🧡💛 I miss it so much! You will love it!

You have to book an overwater villa, the placement is based on the room type you choose, for instance “sunset” or “lagoon”

I know, this video the audio was rough, we put the volume on my voice on 400% and music on 7% and even still in some clips it wasn’t great. We aren’t sure what happened with this video-but will work on improving! Thanks for the feedback!
