At 0:32, I loved this video since it said ‘…and neural components that convert these images to nerve impulses.’ I appreciate the use of the term ‘nerve impulses’ because it’s more accurate than the often-misleading terms like ‘signals’ or ‘electrical signals,’ which don’t fully capture the biological processes involved. In this context, it’s important to note that these are not signals as we typically understand them in electronics, and the involvement of electrons is actually a secondary byproduct. Their role is with the ions and cations in the process, not as a means of transmission. This means that terms like ‘electronic’ or ‘electrical’ should not be used and are misleading-it’s more accurate to describe this as a biological or biochemical process. Thanks for simplifying a complex topic!
