The voicing of the chords in the 3rd mvmt of the Prokofiev sonata is incredible, considering the speed at which he plays them. What an intelligent, skillful pianist.

25th August 2023 Thirty six hours notice Ali’s had to prepare for bbc proms. This is when I was introduced to Alim, him as him at the end of his Rachmaninov performance. If we could hear the noise of the foot hitting any ball by Lionel Messi I think we would hear Alim!
