Madden was a Master of Knowing the Team with More Points Wins - he'd have planned and practiced that exact scenario in practices so it was easy on game day - the Lions would have won the game with John Madden at the helm. We get a lot of good with Dan Campbell - we must learn to accept game management isn't his thing - at least yet - give him a few years and some heart breaking losses and he is definitely capable of taking points in favor of gambling - when he learns from mistakes.

I still see the positives from this game. We all know what our offense is capable of when it’s firing on all cylinders. To see Defense, and special teams keep us in the game the way that they did, gives me hope.
