ALIP BA TA is still one of the best guitarists I've ever come across. Never over the top, never too busy. He just does the song justice, whatever he is playing. Super tasteful and super clean. He took this song and made it more listenable for me. It is beatutiful.

Hi Ryan! I'm in total agreement with your comments. The one thing that stands out in Alip's work is the simplicity and ease of delivery. He doesn't try to impress us by showing fancy guitar playing tricks for the sake of impressing. He just delivers the song in the version that he feels is the best according to his artistry. I Still Got The Blues is a great blues song on its own, but somehow people are more attracted and focusing on Gary's virtuoso during the solo riff. Alip's version somehow draws our attention to the song as a whole, every detail seem to be expressed in a much more clearer way. This has happened with many other Alip's covers where listeners admit that it is as if they hear the whole song for the first time.🙏🙏👍👍
