Dearest friend, I think I have found a soulmate in you. Iranian music is growing exponentially in literally all genres of music currently going around the globe. This piece is a masterpiece in the style of Ravel's Bolero & Jazz, but entirely played by only 2 Iranian instruments so typical of traditional, classical, Persian music. It is completely different to my previous recommendation. But I'm sure you'll find it of exceptional quality & serious originality. It is called "Day of Patience" by Farhad Khosravi. It also features Daniel Standnicki. I'm totally mesmerised by the colours, the timbre & the majestic harpsichord sounding "SANTOOR". I hope it inspires you to listen to more Iranian music.
