I'm genuinely in love with how well they nailed the look of those 1990's silicon graphics, pre-rendered backgrounds. It's very hard to accurately recreate (due to modern renderers / shaders being vastly different to what was created over 30 years ago), but somehow they really made it happen. Most analog horror you can tell is made recently and is paying homage to the PS1/N64 era of 3D graphics; This looks almost indistinguishable from any other game made during the era.

this is the only game i've seen that genuinely replicated the ps1 feeling correctly. if it wasn't for the 2017-2020, i would've been fooled into thinking this was an actual ps1 game.

Best intro/main menu I've ever seen! I was honestly dying, haha. The graphics are a faithful replication of the classics, especially the soft and shiny pre-rendered cutscenes.. Edit: soundtrack has the perfect balance of whimsy and despair, awesome! Great choice, Scissormon!

I love that when Alisa fights literal demon dolls and clowns when she stands still she puts her hand on her hips all sassy / high fashion like.

i played this game the day it came out and i love it. although it did come out pretty buggy in spots but they did fix it over time wish im glad because this game has so much charm and effort put into it. also love the creepy ideas they came up with

I want to know more about Jean. Why is he so aggressively French? Why is he adding random French words in every line? Did his VA go rogue and was just accepted? He's my favorite character ever, I want to know more about him.

Hi there! I'm Jean's voice actor and face model 😁 I'm glad you enjoyed the character, it was a super fun experience to voice him. So here are the answers to your questions: he's French because the game takes place in a fictional country based off of Belgium. France being a neighbor country, the army has agents that come from there and other countries that border the land. For the mix of English and French words, it was an idea of the developer 😁 but yeah I did go a bit rogue 🤣 A DLC where Jean will be the main protagonist should come out, so stay tuned 👍

@@Shinobits Wow, I never thought the VA would wander in here and I never dreamed that Jean's face existed in the real world. :0 I figured the game was somewhere France adjacent but you took it to 120% French where we probably would've been fine with 40% French at max. Thank you for your incredible voice work and also looking at sentences and picking the word that would make the least sense to be in French and making that word French, I am genuinely ecstatic about Jean's entire deal and I will buy the DLC just for More Jean
