Yeah, Carol is the older sister to the brother who went crazy and became a murderer.

and from the tone.. carol was used in a adult trafficing ring by her mother.. which probably had something to do with the brothers attitude and the fire its self. the wallet was probably left by accident by carol as this gas station was before the motel, meaning they could have stopped for gas before reaching the motel at the beginning.

Pelo que eu entendi , a mãe deles deixavam pedo fazer coisas com os filhos dela pra ganhar dinheiro 💰e a Carol até chegou a desejar a morte da mãe por ela usá-los pros pedo , o irmão dela sofreu queimaduras graves no rosto e o cérebro foi comprometido e o plot twist é que o assassino é o irmão dela e que bom que fez o final bom do jogo. Mas aquele dono do hotel mereceu a morte que cara doente. Que bom que a Susan foi salvar a protagonista nem que foi por acaso.
