How they've never continued on making new seasons of Ugly Betty is beyond me. This was such a good show. How Betty transformed into the beautiful swan was just phenomenal writing. Ah well, at least we have these memories. 😔

Unfortunately the shows schedule changed and got less viewers because of the times it aired

The third season was not very good (people didn’t partially like the resolution to the Season 2 cliffhanger being “Betty chooses herself”), or at least the first half wasn’t and it hurt ratings bad so the show got bounced from its time slot and sent to a guaranteed death time slot on Friday nights for the early part of Season 4, and then moved to a late slot on Wednesdays for the rest of the season. By that point, the damage to the ratings was done though so it basically became a mercy killing. They did at least give the show runners enough advance warning to properly plan an endgame. That’s why the London stuff came up. It was to (A) plan an endgame and (b) acknowledge the UK audience who had been very loyal to the show

I always have a soft spot for those two characters... where ever the actors portraying them are right now... in their professional lifes. Just notice on the skirt, there were plenty of hearts... If wasn't mean anything.....
