I love this program! I love reccomending it just as much. It's so great. I can use it for more than deleting just old software. I like to use defender to seek out hard-to-remove Malware and other viruses. Then just copy the file path of said virus and put it into WinDirStat and completely remove the malicious program! So useful.

The app tells me 200gb is used on the OS but I only have 50gbs out of 450gb left. Where is the other 200gb would you know? Ever since i started using sony vegas i've been losing a load of storage every day.

MikeTheTech thanks. this video helped as well but even tho I now have 31gb free out of the the supposed 111gb (120gb ssd) i still can't partition 20-25gb for linux OS and idk why it's soo annoying. something to do with immovable files. Any solutions or do I just need a bigger ssd? i could install on my hdd but i feel i might suffer on performance..

+GM Opinions it could be disk fragmentation, but you may just need a larger OS, or to install on the secondary hard drive for now. 120GB would be a bit cramped for two operating systems with their own applications and files. It could also be likely that space is reserved for system page files or hibernate files.

but I usually install programs and store files on my hdd would. the reccommended size for linux ubuntu 17.04 is 20-25gb. I deleted the hibernate files. hmm thanks anyway

+GM Opinions sorry boss, I have more ideas on freeing up space I could put into video, but probably not in time to really help. Good luck! Duplicate files, unneeded games, and moving large files to Google Drive or cloud storage can do wonders.

Spacemonger is another alternative. Much faster, and the file names are on the blocks. Not as pretty though. My interest is speed
