deleting temps is fine but 1. the prefetch helps the system bring up programs & files faster on startup and it's a myth that clearing it helps performance it helps the system know your routine to do it quicker (wasn't even 20MB anyways) , 2. the winsat is windows system assessment manager deleting this could actually cause problems! 3. Don't optimise your main drive if it's an M.2 NVME or SATA SSD as optimisation is to defrag old hard drives solid states don't need defrag!, 4.only delete software distribution files if your power or restart doesn't show there are updates ready for install or you'll have to wait for it to redownload them to update your windows. hmm yeah I think that covers it strangely there was less than half a gig in most of these locations! kinda surprised my nvidea shader cache was only 400MB I must of cleaned it in the recent past! but i've only had the gpu almost a yr

I've had 7gb in my prefetch prior to recording this video, one of the reasons it was added. Maybe I ran too many apps 🤷‍♂️

The Prefetch Folder opens the last state of any software that was open or used. If you had a problem you knew nothing about, then it can be a hidden nightmre. It is good practice to always empty this folder. You will not lose any significant software loading times. SSD drives do need defraging, it's called 'TRIM'. Turn off write cache and indexing on SSD's, this will help prolong their lives, especially if you are a DAW user and use sample libraries. There will always be conflicts after updating your Windows OS. Get your facts right, you don't know what your talking about.

Just saw a comment saying how it's apparently not necessary to delete prefetch files and how a couple of the things in this video could either be unnecessary or harmful towards ur PC. So, I'd double check on some of the stuff before deleting. I alr did it before checking the comment section, but I'd suggest putting a bit of research into it just in case.
