The acoustics in that building diminish the performance of great artists. I went to see Nile Rodgers there some years ago and all his brilliant guitar riffs got completely lost in the vast drum-like shape of the building. I realise in this video it could be the phone that is recording it that is at fault and the cavernous echoey building that’s no good for crisp guitar riffs is great for Alison’s trippy vocals but where is the bass? It sounds all treble. Whoever the sound engineer is for the Roundhouse really needs to up their game.
