@Alison Krauss Wow Alison, what an honour to be contacted by you. Can I possibly send you my credit card details,,, or do you have a remote cabin in the woods where you’d like us to meet up ? I can bring you a bottle of Chianti if we meet up, I’m sure it would go down well with my liver.

@Alison Krauss I’ve seen your private channel Al and I’d like to compliment you and say the content is exceptional. Unfortunately, I can’t say that, because it isn’t, its crap. Anyway, back to you Alison. I suspect there’s more to you than meets the eye Al ? I bet I’m right aren’t I Al ? Bit more in the nether regions than your namesake I suspect ?

the story behind this song is so terrifying. in Mizo folklore, we have this phenomena called "Khawmu chawi" where individuals mostly children have been abducted by some unseen supernatural forces, after days of searching, the victims are found in rugged places nearly impossible to human access, or in many cases never found. this song in many ways is similar to that phenomenon we used to have here in Northeast India. one recent case happened in 2007 in the village called Thingsai in Mizoram where a 6 year old boy was abducted by the Khawmu, he was never found.

We all feel lost sometimes - this is the piercing anthem of that condition, and the special from which this scene comes is one of the finest appreciations of Alison Krauss: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4ixoaqvhZWSf6M]. Grace note: this ensemble is not Union Station - bassist Barry Bales is here, but the other all-stars in this room deserve notice as well.
