I love this song. We sing it all the time in church. I especially like the lyrics, "How great it must be for angels to see a pilgrim reach home". That really chokes me up when I sing or hear that verse. It's going to be a wonderful day when Jesus comes and rescues His people. Praise you, JESUS! No one could ever love us as much as you. I met her many years ago at a Kroger grocery in Madison. Tn. She was living in the area I lived in. It was around Thanksgiving of about 1989-1990. She was in line behind me and asked if I was going to have a big Thanksgiving. She was so sweet and so beautiful, I didn’t bother her with getting an autograph, just a little chit chat. I think that’s what they enjoy about us Nashvillians, we don’t go nuts and pester them! Last summer (2022) saw her and Robert Plant in concert in Franklin, Tn. She’s still my favorite artist and “How Beautiful Heaven must be and on Heavens bright shore”will be played at my funeral service!! Love her sweet angelic voice!!
