OK, I love this video and Alison and am just gonna post this analysis: So there's two Alisons. One's in the dark(past) & one in the light(present) Past Alison constantly has spotlights thrown on her chest. The spotlights show her pain, her anguish. There's even a shot where she's convulsing on the floor when the spotlights hit her. Then the lights turn red. Red danger. That shit Then there's a shot where past Alison's arm is covered with this blue gooey stuff. That same arm then touches the present Alison. It shows that even though she is better now, she still has moments of weakness. Whatever happened to her still hurts her. The two Alisons are also a pretty neat way of showing her recovery process. She used to be in that painful darkness & she's now relatively better in the light. But yeah, she still feels the pain because that's how recovery works irl too. You do get beybut there's moments/memories of weakness I just love this video so much ;-; ♥️

Since others on here are comparing Alison to Billie I will deposit my two cents ( ot that it matters or makes any difference when an artist so *incredible* as Alison): Billie is certainly one of a kind. No doubt. And very talented, yes. *However* , Alison stands all on her own. Her art is so confident and I feel empowerment listening to her because she is so confident and owns herself and just unleashes *POWER* , it burns through her eyes and seethes out of her movements. She isn't asking. She is *telling* . I don't get that from Billie yet, I feel like she is amazing but very young and being shaped and asking a lot. No shade at all, not meant to be a negative statement, they are just so different that sure, for a moment the eyes and hair strike a momentary similarity, but that is where it ends for me.
