I´d absolutly LOVE to take a ride on your fluffy bike! Buuuuut there are two "small" obstacles in the way. 1: I live in Sweden. 2: I´m in a powerwheelchair so no peddaling or steering for me! 😄 Awesomely useless project, I fully support such nonsence and encourage you to keep doing these thing in detail!!! 😘

I just realised why I keep coming back to your videos: you show the whole process, including running into problems and the subsequent problem-solving that sparks new ideas, and not just the edited down straight-to-the-result type of video. That's the content I want - intellectual, creative and arty.
@spiritedaway0tutu Жыл бұрын
I absolutely adore seeing the whole process. So many creators show short burst and jump cuts and remove anything that doesn’t immediately catch the attention of everyone in a 6 mile radius. You don’t do that. Your art, your videos, your work, your *personality,* all feel *genuine.* You make your art because it’s fun, because you want more outrageous in this world. Not for money, for fame, but simply because why *not.* Please never change that. We will always be happy to hang around for the ride.

Ali, that plastidip type rubber coating you used on the handles can actually be used by itself to make a fuzzy coating. I've done it on accident many times! For the first coat of it you want 50% coverage and let that dry to get the rubber something to stick to for the following coats. Normally you want to spray fairly close and thick so the rubber can pool up and settle but if you spray too far away and light coats, some bits of the rubber will dry while being sprayed in the air and land on the not dried stuff and create a fuzzyish rubber coating.

Agreed with other commenters. I get so much more enjoyment and satisfaction out of watching the process. I want to see when you hit an obstacle and how you brainstorm a way to get around it. I want to watch you work through your own self-doubt and frustration. All of those things are absolutely crucial to the creative process and it can feel discouraging when artists pretend that they didn't go through them too.

This was cool! But be careful wihtout handle brakes! When I was a kid, my mom, brother and I went biking down in Georgia and rented bikes with only foot pedal brakes. I was used to handle bar brakes and was also like 8 or 9. So when we come up to a lake and I wasn't paying attention that the trail was ending at a view point. I went full speed into the dead end and when I instincually went for my handle brakes and didn't find them, I ended up making having to make the choice of crashing into the forest of trees or bushes at the edge of the water. I chose the water. Thats how I ended up being dragged out of a lake by a very nice man in brand new snakeskin boots who also retrieved my waterlogged bike. Luckily I was ok, but I have never ridden a bike without handle brakes ever again. lol

At this point you've made so many velvet things that Christine hates that I think you owe a future project to her where you make something that she likes and you hate! It would certainly be a challenge to do, and you'd also have to put out some *feelers* to find the right sensory experience to go with, but I think it would be a really nice turnaround that would make for a great gift and video.
