@ yes Rodriguez did direct it but James Cameron was the man behind the film. It was his idea to make it and he produced it. It wouldn’t be the same film without both of them having their fingers in it. Great film and I hope the sequel comes out soon.

Rose Salazar nails it as Alita. Absolutely. They caught the character and tone of the comics perfectly. I want more. Yukito Kishiro is a stickler for detail, and they got it right. Except for some of the names and minor plot points, they GOT IT. So sweet.

If that ends up being the case, the sequel will definitely be better than the first. That's not to say the first director did a sub par job. Quite the contrary; the first was floopin' amazing!
