[Just a little story(?)... thing... my over active brain thought of instead of falling asleep.] You stared out towards the distance, watching as the city lights stretches beyond the horizon. As you're far enough from the city, there's little light pollution around, letting you see the stars lighting up the night sky. The falling stars, the evening breeze, the rustling of the trees around you. Your memories flicker, showing you what was, before the rise of high rises, towering buildings and apartments. The time where you sat down at a table, surrounded by family and relatives. Celebrating the new year together, passing food around one another. Then, a memory of being in a car, sitting in the backseat as you watch the world go by. Your parents sitting at the front seat, looking back to check on you from time to time. You'd play games together, like "I spy", passing about snacks while you're on the road. Then the memory stops, your vision flutters back to reality. You look up as you see stars falling across the skies, as if it's landing beyond the horizon, lighting up the distant sky. Then you hear a thunderous sound in the distance, a shift in the air as a shockwave passing by you, almost knocking you to your feet. More stars fall from the sky, as it pass through the clouds, you realize it's not stars at all. The rain of light falling, creating a chain of explosion in the distant city. As buildings fall, the city lights flickers out, one by one. You hear another explosion in the distance, as a light shined from behind like the sun was rising. You turned around to see a cloud of dust, rising from the ground as it forms into the shape of a mushroom. Its shockwave, devastating its surrounding region and flattening the lands. The war had begun, you're stuck in the middle of it. It's too late to run, there's nowhere else to go. You stand, watching the final moments of the world. At that moment, what would have been the one thing that you regret not doing in life? Would it be regretting not taking that leap, to take that jump and go for that trip you had always planned for but never went for it.. or would you regret not apologizing to your loved ones for doing something without thinking.. If time stopped at that very moment, and a voice asked if you could have done it all again, change the choices you had made before.. ... Would you do it?
