It's 76 here in Northeast Texas ☀️I had 17 chicks to hatch on Friday. Incubators are set 44 this go around 🥚🐣🐤 I do a dry hatch.....I only add water the last 3 days. Where I live ambient humidity is about 20-30, then I bump it up to 50 the last 3 days.I love my Nurture Right 360.

Aww, so many cute hens and roos. Glad you found a good home for George. I watched your tutorial on how to set up a broody hen and did that. I got my black copper manans eggs under her. I posted a short video of unboxing the eggs. I've got chicks coming in July from My Pet Chicken. I have another hen going broody and hope to order more hatching eggs. And I'm hoping I can pick up that same incubator this week. I hope so. All very exciting.

It is 70 degrees at the TN AL line today. I was in the Co-op Friday and they only got 100 chicks in and they all sold in a couple of hours. Another Great Video!

Sounds like chicks are selling fast there, too. I went to add a couple to my April order at our feed store, but they can’t. She said people are ordering chicks like crazy this year.

I've been selling chicks for a couple of months now I make my own chicken feed all my hens kept laying eggs throughout the winter so I got a head start even my older hens were laying throughout the winter

@@ChickenHues I use a lot of pumpkin and rice all kinds of stuff I found variety is the best I don't have one-set recipe it seems to work out best like that when I do is I grow my own pumpkins and then I boil it down in a big pot adding my spices and whatever other gredients are available to me at that time I feed about 40 hens and 10 roosters this way I always make sure they have oyster sales also

@@ChickenHues and if I have any leftover meat maybe freezer burned or something like that I'll throw that in there too and if I have leftover eggs those will go in there for protein

Oh and make sure your rice is not that cheap crap from China made from plastic I feed my chickens rice dry or wet when I make my own scratch all usually poor in about 20 lb of rice to about 100 pounds of scratch it seems like my chickens just weren't getting enough nutrition no matter what I did until I figured out rice

our chicken's are laying, they just don't care about keeping the eggs warm
