I ONLY WORKED FOR KINNEY SHOES FOR 4 YEARS. I LEARNED THAT YOUR PEOPLE WERE YOUR GREATEST ASSET. IT'S A DISGRACE THAT MOST COMPANIES SEE THEIR EMLPYEES AS THEIR BIGGEST LIABILITY, I SEE IN 2023 MOST RETAIL PEOPLE WITH A BAD 'IDON'T CARE' ATTITUDE.

I knew the Kenny shoe store was finished.when Payless open up.I informed my mgr Mr collins.kenny was going out of business soon.he laugh at me 😂

I know this is about Kinney Shoe Stores but does anyone remember John Hardy or just "Hardy's Mens Shoe Store? I know they were still around in the late 60's. I ask because my dad was the manager at one of the stores. Back in the day when one income, even from a shoe store manager, could support a family of 5! A worked at one part time my senior year in high school. Ive not been able to find much on them. Even old pictures. Im aware of a current John Hardy Store that sells a variety of apparel items.
