M-my world......might as well be shattered right now. Aliyah, my dear cousin.......words are not enough to describe how painfully broken I feel at the moment. I am missing EVERY moment of EVERY day. I should’ve been there.......one last time......to comfort you.....to watch over you.....and to make sure that......you would be safe in the arms of those who had protected you since Day 1. I’ve already lost a lot in my life......and it pains me to see you go. I would’ve done anything to make sure.......that I see you one final time. But at least I know that you can rest peacefully as your soul rests in the holy hands of God himself. Cancer, you just ripped out another part of me and nearly infected me with your unholy hand. But I will NOT be silenced. Aliyah’s memory will live on......and I could only hope and pray.....that one day.......my family will make it through this the same way we always have....... TOGETHER. No more pain, no more suffering.......just rest in peace now......
