@@aliyahsimone what I do is, I know it’ll sound crazy but I’ve been cleaning them with dr bronners soap to get a good clean twice a day. Then for bumps I would mix salt and warm water, apply that paste and put a bandaid on overnight to relieve the pain and get the bump to go away 🙌🏾

SO not a random question!! you're so sweet for thinking about me in this decision so i am HONORED!! for you it sounds like the NoDa area would be great! there are a lot of food places to try in the heart of it but if you want a little distace. optimist park is also great! both are very close to downtown (so you can still experience that area without being in the heart) and there's amazing parks not far from these areas too! i personally lived in the optimist park/noda area when i had my "downtown" apartment and LOVED it!!!! it was fairly quiet and it allowed me to go around when i pleased without being in the chaos!! if you have any more questions, feel free to dm me on insta and just lmk that you left me this comment!!!

honestly the only real thing about having an apartment is being able to get up and go if i please. i LOVED apartment living and i purchased for the same reason you want to! it’s a big responsibility but not as big of one as people make it out to seem. it’s a great decision but it also sometimes for me feels like i HAVE to stay here but that’s also a very personal feeling, you may feel different!
