Thank you for doing this segment in TX. I have to pay my employees under the table here just so they can still be eligible for Medicaid income req to keep healthcare insurance for their 2 yr old daughter.

I pay $300 a month through the Affordable Care Act. The pricing from $0 up to $1000 is great for choices. PPO or HMO, you can add dental of you wish. Shame on any state that opted out. Of course, there are deductibles and out-of-pocket like all insurances so there is a plan for all who qualify.

For those of you falling into the gap, consider boosting your income a bit through some unverifiable means like babysitting, dog breeding, odd jobs, etc. Just make sure you come in just over poverty level when you file your tax return. The money you’ll save by having Obamacare at poverty level should be worth the low premium you may have to pay. Get a Silver Plan with a low out-of-pocket max and that will be the best insurance you’ll ever have. Stick with the big providers though, for best results.

"people already working 2 jobs to just get by, get 3 more jobs!" you're clearly very out of touch with reality.

@@neilsiebenthal9254 - The idea isn’t to literally take on new work. I’m sorry you don’t understand my meaning here, but I can’t explain in too much detail. The smarter people win at this game, and those who aren’t that bright or who are too honest completely lose. They’ve made the ACA a financial game, so play it correctly. Someday, if Republicans will finally stop fighting it, we’ll have free healthcare for everyone, but for now you have to play a numbers & paperwork game.
