Philippines drought: Govt warns El Niño will affect most parts by April

Thousands of Filipino farmers say they’re suffering from the effects of the climate pattern known as El Niño.
The dry spell has damaged nearly 30,000 hectares of farmland, and is expected to affect almost all provinces in April - when it’s hottest in the Philippines.

They cut down all the trees and planted cash crops. That is why its no rain. Our rain reduced also because of summer but we got rain last week. One day it rained all day. Its not the same across the whole Philippines my farm is thriving.
