People who are comparing Indian Bullet train project with Indonesia... Must Understand... In Indonesia Chinese workers and Chinese machines are doing the majority of work with Indonesian workers. **But in India L and T(an Indian company) is doing the construction.** **Electrical overhead wiring work will also be done by L and T** Machines are also built and operated by Indian engineers. Only Chief engineer comes once a while from Japan to see progress and modifications. **So technically India is learning how to make bullet train project** **Just like we learned how to make world class Metro infrastructure** And also JAPAN'S bullet trains are safest and best in the world. "So asking for help again n again in future from Japan is not what India is thinking." That's why it is taking time. Additional info -- Indonesia's route length is 142 km with 4 stations. **India's route length is 508 km (476 km elevated on pillars, including 21 km undersea tunnel) with 12 stations.** "Also, Undersea tunnel will be made by AFCONS which is also an Indian Company. This is the best video I have seen on this project. You have clearly outlined how it is being executed. The video coverage is outstanding. I would love to see the timelines. When is this segment of the project going to be completed? I want to see timelines for the following. 1. Excavation work for the BKC terminal is completed. 2. Excavation work for each shaft. 3. The tunnel boring timelines. 4. Finishing of the tunnels. (Civil work) 5. Finishing of the BKC terminal. (Civil work) 6. Laying of tracks and electrification. 7. Testing of the tracks and electrical system.

I saw Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Jakarta, Manilla, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala lumpur, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Ho Chi Minh city, Yangon. Taipei etc. Their footpaths are wide and low in height with grey marvel or rock or stone or tiles whatever. Their road dividers are lower in height and full of greeneries and tree plantations. Modern design of street lights and traffic lights. Lots of gardens, landscapes and quite flat pavements. No political parties posters. Litter-bins are everywhere. People use subways, footbridges and sky walk for walking purpose. No red paint or stain of beetle leaf beetle nuts juices or any tobacco products. No trash on roads or streets or lanes or gardens. No leaflet or posters sticked on any building. Not much noisy. No unnecessary honking. Low air and sound pollution. Mostly dividers are painted either black and white or a few are red and white not much black and yellow stripes. Which makes those cities look like a beautiful world-class international city. Which is clean and green. And these things are missing in Indian metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Surat, Kochi, Trivandrum, Chandigarh, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Patna, Agra, Kanpur, Bhopal, Indore, Bhuveneswar, Nagpur, Guwahati, Greater Noida, Navi Mumbai, Dholera, Gift city, Vizag etc. No matter how much infrastructure Indian government develops Indian metro cities will never look like a world-class international city. A country does not develop just by building tall skyscrapers. It depends on many things. Thats why India metro cities are far behind South East and East Asian cities and other Western European, North American, and Oceanian cities.
