It would be interesting to do a history check on each of these settlers to establish what they had in the US and if they have been subject to criminal charges that they are escaping. Residency in these regions is exceptionally affordable for anyone escaping a criminal justice system. There has got to be a reason for them to move. If they were law abiding citizens in the US and contributed to the economy, there would be no reason for them to resettle unless alternatively it was due to coercion

How do these settlements get water and power? I've always wondered. Israel claims to condemn them, but someone is pulling power lines out to them. Hundreds of people make quite a bit of waste too. Do they have a big cesspool? Where does their trash go? It's one thing to deny that you actually condone the settlements, but you have to have some level of government support to make them habitable.
