There is no joy like learning, teaching , doing and feeling mathematics.....my desire to learn mathematics started from my school days when I scored "0" in my half yearly examination in class Vii and also I was not able to pass in mathematics in half yearly exam of class VIII as well...there were many reasons like no good teachers, no Tution , no one to encourage...most students may give up ....but...I started to explore my self, I went deeper into the concepts, there was only one thing in mind,,.. why I cannot.? ...it took time but slowly things changed..I developed interest and began to look at any sum as a challenge, confidence in math brought a big change in me, i developed self confidence in almost everything. I understand one thing. ..""you have to take your first step to solve your problems..no one will take a lead for you."" ...Math is a turning point in my life...today I am teaching math and science at St.Louis High School, Chhaygaon, in Assam and I love my work teaching mathematics......
