But you must also take into consideration the push factors from the continent. This is a continent subdivided into Anglophones, Francophones, Lusophones etc. Meaning that it is still a colony and whatever decisions it takes, its with the approval of London, Paris, Lisbon etc. People who don't have land in their own countries have no means of production. Those with the land have no technology to make it sustainable. Wars which are European manufactured are another push factor. Some of the migrants are highly educated as per their countries' standards but lack of jobs, loans to start up a business, energy for production etc leaves these guys with no options but make this desperate journeys. Huge loans often stolen by African leaders make the continent susceptible to Europe and Asia. The problem Africa is failing to address is to do away with this artificial European Berlin manufactured borders. Africa cannot stand or survive with borders. They are unsustainable as brings mischief as rule of law.
