Nothing will ever top their long program in South Korea. The greatest.

I so agree. I've watched it more than 100 times and in watching the 2022 Olympics it only lead to disappointment.

Bruno's voice is so dark. It always suprises me. Aljona has a hard voice. It really reflects their characters.

Every time I see them it always surprises me how much more confident he is than her. I can't believe how sweet and humble she seems, especially considering how successful she was...
@merino18695 жыл бұрын
Part of this is the language barrier, though. His English is a lot stronger than hers, so of course he sounds more fluent and confident. If they did the interview in German the impression would be very different.
@joejoematic82065 жыл бұрын
@@merino1869 It is the same with Aljona talking German. But Aljona's English ans German is aweful. Although she married a British guy and lived in Germany for more than 14 years.

Aljona you are also an excellent coach! The advances in Alexa and Chris's skating quality are noticeable.

It's surprising if they have retired from competitive skating. Christopher Dean said that when he was choreographing their long programme with which they won the Olympics, he asked her what she was going to do, post Olympics, and she replied that she wanted to go on competing.
@tarantala1115 жыл бұрын
No, she's way too old now, and besides, it needs TWO to skate and Bruno wants to retire - so she would have to find a new partner.
@connor26695 жыл бұрын
Bruno was really the reason behind it. He’s getting married and they just had a baby. He wants to spend time with his family but they have both said it’s not completely off the table it’s just an undetermined break. They deserve to take a break and just be with their families

I think It s time to hey tires .Naw with allí the Glory. Of gold because 30 and 35 years are not longer 20 and 25 years old . I remember aVolozovar and Tranvov un Canadá un 2016 hit the ice and their faces were very sad .It is Also good leave room for those who come behind fighting for the gold too.

Wow Aliona looks different, but they seem really cute and sweet.... She seems to really miss skating...
@user-oz9mp3fe6t5 жыл бұрын
So, they retired as skaters?
@evelynwashere135 жыл бұрын
@@user-oz9mp3fe6t I know she said it was her last year but I don't know about Bruno. He seems like he's ready to stop too, but he's pretty young, he could come back....
@Eric08165 жыл бұрын
I think it's the other way around. I guess that Aljona would prefer to compete but Bruno talked about a lack of motivation and he also has some health issues.
@user-oz9mp3fe6t5 жыл бұрын
@@Eric0816 Oh really? What health issues, do you know? So that's the reason they don't comoete anymore? Such a shame. Wish you to recover soon Bruno whatever issue you have!!!

Aljona comes off to me as slightly evil...and that Bruno enjoys spending time away from her 😂
@evelynwashere135 жыл бұрын
Wow..evil??? 😂😂😂😂 She always seemed nice and friendly to me.... now the other Russians skaters???? Yeah, I don't like them at all. Bruno is very funny and confident.... love his voice
@yvettelorns14495 жыл бұрын
Evelynwashere 1 hahaha I don’t mean it as a negative!! Just that she is an evil genius and loves this sport very much. I don’t think Bruno has quite the same passion to work for greatness like she does (which is also not a negative!)
@yvettelorns14495 жыл бұрын
kleinegritzige agree and their skating is some of the most beautiful I have seen. I was being playful but it doesn’t come across as much when you are typing...I’m happy we are able to witness what they do, they are breathtaking to watch.
@mcarroll53605 жыл бұрын
Evil might not be accurate but she is a tough person. If Bruno wasn't perfect in the Long Program at the Olympics after his fault in the Short, God only knows what would have happened. Look at the video of him immediately after they learn they're the winners. He practically collapses into Eric Radford's arms from relief.
@luciusbright73695 жыл бұрын
I agree with you, I love them both, Bruno is nice and cute, but not have the urge of skating in competition like Aliona has.
@tarantala1115 жыл бұрын
Gosh her English is bad - and his is so good. I hope she's not coaching in English!
