I think you will benefit from a deep dive starting from the beginning. Sleep token is such a unique band. They started with just vessel and have picked up members along the way. From what I have read, the lyrics “shes not acid, not alkaline” is referring to the song name and its place in the album. Its the 7th track, and for something to be neutral (aka not acid nor alkaline) it has to have a pH scale of 7. Just more proof to Vessels genius

Hey just dropping by to say that i absolutely 💗 your reactions to these tracks from this phenomenal band. I felt the exact same way when i heard my first song from Sleep Token, insta-fan. So many fluidly transitional genre changes, done to perfection and blended with Vessels soothing yet raw vocals. 🤯🫠 I believe you would love Ascentionism as well as Rain. Tho the song Blood Sport (from the room below) is a heart-wrencher and deserves a listen. Also if you wanna check out something really cool I Highly recommend the Sleep Token cover of Hypnosis and Chokehold done by Will Ramos (vocalist for Lorna Shore) Dude has an amazing voice for someone who predominantly sings in demonicly growling gutterals and goblin pig squeals 🤘 but its understandable that he'd want to do the cover some justice concidering Sleep Token is his favorite band as well. After 3 songs I can sympathize with the Sleep Token obsession ;) Will also say there is something special about Sleep Token concerts, and if you see them as your first one it would be a religious experience but may ruin all subsequent concerts for you... For me, another band will never compare to the utter euphoria of seeing ST live.

Dear Vanessa, I will not twist my soul, I like your style and how it's evolving so far. What I'd suggest? Don't listen to anybody about anything. Everyone that was "struck" at some point by Sleep Token's degree of musicianship/artistry, has walked his specific path (to some extent, of course). Just make your own journey. There's no right and wrong, only popular opinion. Whatever is your next choice among ST's repertoire, you won't make a mistake. Shape your unique sequence of steps down that road. Enjoy!
