Euclid is a track better received when a person has more collective knowledge of their entire discography instead of a couple songs here or there. It’s the last song in the trilogy for a reason. Ascensionism absolutely fucks tho. Top tier banger that needs no prerequisite listenings.

As a 56 yo dude when I think of all time great albums, as of a few months ago, I now think of bands like Led Zeppelin, America, Pink Floyd and Sleep Token. It has been many decades since a recent album made my all time favorites list. Sooo very good and creative.

Great reaction! Another cool thing I heard about this song is it not only occurs at the mid point of the album, but it also occurs at the middle of the three album trilogy, hence why a lot of the lyrics allude to being stuck between two halves "Not acid nor alkaline" "Caught between black and white" "Not quite either day or night" "Either born in hell or heaven sent"

When I heard Sleep Token for the first time ever was at Copenhell '23. There’s a lot more to the lyrics that’s shows a huge understanding of chemistry. Not acid or alkaline is perfectly balance, a ph7(of which this is song 7 on the album). The only thing that is perfectly balanced is water hence the mention of holy water, and then you can see all the ties in to other songs like Atlantic. This is the tip of the rabbit hole of sleep token lyrics…
