I am amazed on how the crowd is not going cray for the set list, show some good times peeps, this is one of the few bands that plays a wide variety of songs from their albums. Show some love for the trio. Long Live the Trio.

I think it was a mixture of age, first night of tour, lot of new stuff and people not familiar with it. Seemed a lot more people into the pre-Crimson stuff (which there wasn’t a lot of).

I was at the show on 3/29 in Los Angeles and they were just as rad. I've been seeing them live since 2003, they just keep getting better-and let's give a shout out to the opening bands they put on, Drug Church and The Worriers were so good! This album is quickly becoming one of my favorites-it's amazing. My life just wouldn't be the same without these guys.

Maybe that will be for the better in subsequent records, but especially with older tracks I can feel exactly what you stated: a hole in their sound.

No Private Eye, no This Could be Love, no Sadie, Clavicle, Cringe (not my favourites but set list norms) - basically ignored four albums and included a whole load of new songs and throwing in a b-side for the first time..... and this is still the best Trio setlist I have ever seen. Slightly disagree that a set list which doesn’t include those songs could be their best ever BUT more to the point it’s kinda insane how they could do an entire set of songs they’ve left off this set and it would also be amazing. All the ones you mentioned… even latter day ones like She Lied to the FBI, Is This Thing Cursed or I Wanna be a Warhol would be worthy of an alternate setlist. Hell Yes and Standard Break From Life are b-sides and yet would be worthy… they really just have SUCH a deep catalogue to pull from.
