Alki Beach - Walking West Seattle 🏖

This is a narrated walking tour of Seattle's Alki Beach showing what this popular West Seattle destination looks like on a weekday afternoon in early June 2021. It was a beautiful sunshiny day. Businesses are open again, with some offering dine in seating and some offering only take out orders.
Some popular food places on the boardwalk include Seattle's oldest fast food restaurant, Spud Fish & Chips, and Blue Moon Burger.

the building with the colorful wall at 4:06 is a daycare if I remember right! there's a door on the side of that building that leads up to an air bnb-- a few family members and I stayed there in april of 2021! it's wild seeing someone walk the same path we did when we stayed there. up past spud's and to alki cafe and everything. it makes me miss it. I've been there a couple times now, and while I dont think I could live there long term, it really is one of my favorite places in the world. there's so much life and charm and collecting sea glass along alki beach was the highlight of the April visit 😆 I will be continuing to reminisce in the cold and frosty landlocked plains of north dakota now, lol. thank tou for sharing!!

@@ms.flamingo9048 Yes you'll need a car. Seattle is about a 30 to 40 minute drive from Tacoma.

Renting the car is probably the best bet .
