Hey everyone, today we’re ranking and explaining every survivor perk in the game, from worst to best. Let’s get into it.
Chapter 23 has been released! It's Sadako Rising, a licensed chapter. The new killer is named The Onryō, and the new survivor, Yoichi Asakawa! Sadako's gameplay is really fun, and Yoichi's perks are pretty interesting.

I did this on Hawkins lab my 3 team mates were working on a gen and I went to the locker near the portal it was that gen and I lured the spirit there and at the end of the match i told the spirit of what happened and they were shocked

Actually, no mither has a hidden stat: it increases your chances of getting tunneled by 90% (At least that's how it worked when I was actually using it lol)

You have to combine it with an unhookable build. You’d be suprise often the killer will just… drop you 🤣🥴 they are damned if you do and damned if you don’t if you play the map correctly

Functions aside, DBD's perks are faithful to the spirit/conflict of all the characters. Like how Steve and Nancy's are their character development from the show before the tragic name changes. Or how you have to put in actual work for Adam's. However, there are muddy ones like Ash and Wraith I would change. But since a perk overhaul is unlikely, they should overhaul item add-ons instead. That would cut grind too, Azhy.

@@porkyman001 It is. It activates ONCE after eating 3 HITS in a particular scenario. It would be much better if it also provided a buff to healing after taking a protection hit.

@@porkyman001 mettle of man is dookie unless you're dedicating your entire game to protection hits, healing yourself, repeat. just smarter to do gens. it can be cutch but it is so incredibly situational, requires a lot of work for ONE hit, and then shows your aura for no reason when the perk is already annoying to get to work. just not worth

Please do a killer version of this next, I would love to see where perks from sadako stack up, so far my favourite from her is murderous storm, I feel its a perk that punishes a lot of people, and is guaranteed to work every match pretty much. Call of brine being a handheld ruin is also impressive to me and almost a must have, Awesome videos mate

I feel like it'd be almost impossible because how good the perk is would be solely dependent on the killer because of their individual powers they'd have to do a list for every individual killer

I think mettle was wayyyy to low, I few months ago I would've said it was a really bad perk, but since boons and a healing meta has begun, mettle is definitely a much better perk now that you can heal so fast. Just my thoughts though

3:53 I mean Left Behind only activates when you are the last survivor in the trial. With the last hatch update, the hatch only spawns when you are the last survivor remaining. So, it doesn't "narrow the potential circumstances for the perk to activate". If anything, it made the perk better because you could originally find the hatch before the perk would reveal it to you.

true, although my rebuttal is that because the hatch only opens up when you're the last survivor left, it will be open when spawned. Therefore if you are within the range for left behind to work, you will most likely hear it anyways. The only application I really see to this perk is if you are in an indoor map and the hatch is on a different floor a bit away or if the hatch got closed before you were able to find it and you have a key, which would make finding it a tiny bit easier.

I personally prefer Aftercare over Bond. Despite it's requirements, you will always end up having a least one connection to a person. Since even when you get hooked, being unhooked is an action that will trigger it. What really makes it shine for me though is that this connection goes both ways.

One of the more underrated perks that I find myself using a lot is Stake Out. It can compliment a lot of builds and on it's own, it is just nice to get great skill checks a majority of the time which can speed up generators a little bit.

Red Herring actually won me a game I was a my mom's house, so I had to use a laptop instead of my computer, and that laptop has a hard time running anything, so in the first few minutes of loading in I tend to fail a few skill checks, and today I was also a bit rusty and failed a ton throughout the match. I still did a few gens, and one was left, but I was the only survivor left, so I looked for hatch. At once point I was near main, and heard the terror radius getting louder and louder, so I hid in a locker and Red Herring went off on some random gen, and the terror radius immediately left. I then exited, went away, and found the hatch right next to where the radius was coming from, meaning that the killer somehow missed hatch and left to get that gen. I now always use the fish perk pretty often, and it has saved my bacon a few other times, but it is still pretty bad. I mostly just use it for the memes

I make use of it often, luring the Killer to other gens, then working on one further away. What ends up happening is either they get to the gen, kick it, look around a bit, then leave to patrol again, or they run into another person and start chase.

After the massive perk changes recently I actually use and like distortion, if your with a squad and can pick up where and when a token is consumed you can guess what perks they are using, helping you teammates be aware of when they are about to be revealed hopefully saving them from getting hit or downed, plus means you can fix gens with abit of peace of mind

I run Blood Pact and I enjoy it. I usually solo queue so having visual on at least one of my teammate’s auras is nice. Especially when the stars align and the obsession has No Mither- awesome!!

I honestly feel like blood pact is very underrated. I just wanted to use it to see but it’s come in handy so much, either healing me or the other teammate and also when they get injured in chase I can see where the killer is by them

Personally I like the "Urban Evasion" perk, I like to play stealth and in many situations this perk allowed me to escape the killer. Stake Out, Prove Thyself, Small Game and Urban Evasion are certain perks to always be with me and as an Ace run I usually don't need Iron Will.

my idea for a buff to self preservation would be that when a teammate is hit within 16 meters of you. You gain a token, the next time a chase starts you lose that token but the affects trigger and you gain the extra stealth.

You should do a combo video, because I feel a lot of your lower picks if put in the right combo can set up really good plays. For example, break out, metal of man, and saboteur. Can absolutely ruin a killers chance of hooking a survivor so they would have to slug which leaves a really good chance to keep them from getting hooked

One of my friends used corrective action for a while, because when me and another friend started playing dbd, we had super bad ping and would fail skillchecks accidentaly. That's the only use I can think of for that perk

Ace In The Hole is actually pretty amazing when running a gen-slammer toolbox build (Commodious/WireSpool/Springs + Streetwise + Built To Last) especially in a good SWF where your escape is near guaranteed. Wire Spools in particular, despite being a "Common" addon are so rare you can see zero in an entire prestige. It's basically an equippable, weaker White Ward....so far from useless.

Mettle of man actually works on ash if you play hero build with ash’s other perks along with no one left behind cause it helps you keep the killer busy while the others work on the rest

sole survivor is situational but that extra speed on opening gates when 1v1 is extremely useful for me and helped me escape several times. i think it should switch places with visionary (15:26)

Because I missed your voice i was watching this Video again and there i noticed, that there is something worth mentioning. The Perk "Fixiated" or "Self Awareness" does what you explained what it does, but not what it actually means: There is a "start staggering" for running. At the moment you hold Move Forward with the Sprint Key you have not the same speed as 1 second after it, but with this Perk, you actually have the full speed right in this moment. This also means, you can take vaults as a Fast Vault with a shorter to no start distance
