Red blade : Muichiro is one of the hashiras with little physical strength, surpassing only Shinobu and Obanai, As stated by author, in arm wrestling Sanemi, Tomioka, Rengoku and Mitsuri are equal. Sanemi did not make red blade with brute force because he did not have the knowledge that way (since he made a red blade hitting gyomei and tomioka) or for fear of fainting as was the case of obanai who almost fainted from trying to make one with brute force. Also later we got see heavely fatigued tanjiro made his blade red with the major help of tomioka's(only with one hand) brute strength. Sanemi didn't do it because he didn't know (since Obanai knew because of the crow and obanai is stated to be even weaker than muichiro who made his blade red) or because he was afraid of fainting. Tomioka hadn't even seen a red blade, so much so that he only discovered it when Sanemi helped him during the final fight against muzan, About Mitsuri i have no idea why she doesn't have a red blade, but maybe it's because his sword looks like a whip (gyomei for example has a ball of thorns and an ax and he didn't use brute force to make one red sword, although he is the hashira with the greatest brute strength). so it is clear that Tomioka and Sanemi if they knew that blade also turns red because of brute strength then they can easily made their blade red on their own because Obanai who is stated even weaker than Muichiro in physical strength turned his blade red after getting the info from the crow which Tomioka and Sanemi didn't get.
