The giraffe fruit is likely a "cow" fruit because both are rumenants. They have an additional "stomach" or sorts called a rumen and places them close together in their taxonomy. Moose are also rumenants so it would be interesting to see if a moose or reindeer fruit are also in the "cow" family of fruits.

I still think Choper might have an Ancient version of the Human-Human Fruit. Pre-timeskip, his Heavy Point, which was his full human form, was large, and hairy, like an ape. And, we know now because of Luffy that eating a fruit doesn't necessarily make you know right away what it was that you ate. Luffy always thought his fruit was the Gum-Gum fruit, after all. And if you look at Lucci, when he turns into a Leopard, he's not some weird hairless thing because he didn't have fur to start with, so Chopper becoming a full-on human but retaining his fur seems odd.

There's another option for an Ancient Human-Human fruit that's not a pre-evolution human or something like that though: Ancient Giants, that might be why his Monster Point is specifically super huge, like he's the size of Oars while in Monster Point, isn't he? If it was just a normal Human-Human fruit, even accounting for the larger awakened form, he wouldn't be as big as someone like Oars

So, a couple updates here: - Avalo Pizarro ate the Shima Shima no mi, which allows him to manipulate entire islands as his body, but damage to the island reflects on him. - Vasco Shot ate the Gabu gabu no mi, which apparently manipulates alcohol in some manner. - Sanjuan Wolf's fruit is the Deka Deka no mi, and his gigantic size is actualy the fruit, so... he can't get any bigger so far. - Karasu was revealed to be the Susu Susu no mi, or Soot LOGIA. Thos birds he make are all made out of soot.

Also, you categorized Piere's Horse Fruit as a single category Fruit since we don't know of others like it, but the Jailer Beast with the Zebra Fruit is clearly another Horse Zoan even if you don't know it's name yet (pretty sure it's just the Horse Horse Fruit: Model, Zebra) and Stronger's Mythical Pegasus Fruit is also a Horse Fruit, so we have at least three.

I always understood Magellans desire to eat poison as...he can actually handle most poisons but not his own, and he eats his own poison to either train resistance or possibly because he likes the taste. Honestly, he is terrifying. Also i realized that since 'the closest piece of uncorrupted fruit becomes a devil fruit is how doffy got aces fruit (he knew some devil fruit users would get killed, so he brought some fruit with him hidden in his cape) and also how blackbeard is stealing devil fruits. It may be that if the fruit isn't exactly fully formed or if its covered in the blood of the previous user, you can get the power without the risk of death.

What I think would happen if a human were to eat Chopper's fruit is that they can empower one body part (or 2 if they come in pairs). Most of the time when Chopper uses one of his techniques he calls out a body part or an ability + the word point. Like Arm Point, Horn Point, Brain Point, Jumping Point, etc and it is speculated that Monster Point is a combination of all/most Points. A bit of an outlier is of course the Kung-Fu point. So I would guess it's the same for humans. Of course humans dont have horns to empower and Guard Point (where chopper makes his furr grow extremely fast) might look a bit..... odd but that's what I think would happen if a human ate the basic Hito Hito no Mi.

I think it’s worth mentioning that we’ve observed almost every type of devil fruit having some connection to fire. Luffys red moves, Lucci hot flick, Doffys overheat string, Kanjuros flame spirit, the flammable mucus of Trebol and flammable webs of black Mariah. It’s actually a lot !!

I don't think it's necessarily a devil fruit thing. Zoro and Kinemon both use flame rending and flame producing techniques, Sanji has Diablo and Ifrit moves, the lunarians have fire powers, and volume 4Billion suggests Shanks uses flames in his sword style. Flames seem really common in general

It's not rare to have a devil fruit that can affect the sea. There's no reason that sakazuki couldn't make Land by flooding lava into the sea or that foxy couldn't slow waves down with his slow-mo Ray they just never had any reason to do that. Being physically in the ocean, specifically submerged past the waist immobilizes devil fruit users and turns off their abilities but nothing stops the effects of their devil fruit from working on water as long as they themselves are not submerged

Thinking of Toki's DF that can sent one to the future I had imagined if a DF that sent the user back in time existed which allowed the user to take futuristic technology, schematics or just key information from the distant future back to the past to make up a kingdom that's far more advanced. I couldn't see a past-past fruit being in the story though as it's probably fallen out of existence going too far into the past or just out of reach for anyone to obtain. I like the idea though of future tech in one piece finding it's way into the past thus forming the ancient kingdom (probably not the case just my speculation).

The Past Past fruit could be used to explain Skypiea and the Lost Century. Maybe the government used a Past user to send technology back 100 years in order to help jump tech that The Marines use and to locate Devil Fruits faster. The Cloud People could've also been an attempt by the government to place humans on islands so that in the future they could use them. Like the user went back in time so far that humans went up into the sky and developed their own society and culture and evolved into Sky People

My theory on how Pell survived the big nuke is that after he flew up in the air; right before the bomb went off he did a super fast dive bomb and barely managed to get out in time (hurting his legs in the process from the blast). Peregrine Falcons are known for one thing, being the FASTEST ANIMAL ON THE PLANET. How do they get so fast you ask? By doing dive bombs at the speed of like 240 MPH! Look it up it's pretty interesting. This would fully explain how Pell could escape that blast.

It always has baffled me at what point devil fruits, especially paramecia ones, made the system of power and fighting extremely wonky after haki was added. It made a lot of the lore pre haki loose some of its sense, in the same way the bounty and the warlord system pre time skip raised a lot of questions on how soda had initially planned the story to go.

In my opinion, chopper actually ate an ancient zoan fruit model: ancient human (or something along that line), enabling him to take on human form in whichever stages of evolution - from the oldest human ancestor (which is supposed to be the same as ape’s ancestor, kinda explain his gorilla-like transformation & monster point) to modern human as we know today (Charles Darwin theory of evolution). Or idk, it sounds like a paramecia power too i guess? God(a) knows. Think about it, as vegapunk explained, devil fruit comes from wishes/desires for human evolution. The reason that Giraffes are part of the Ox-Ox Fruit line is because they are Ungulates (Animals with hooves), and as such, share similar evolutionary lineages to animals like Elk, Deer, Cows, and even Horses. The reason that the Horse-Horse Fruit series is separated from this is probably because Horses have different purposes in society than animals like cows or bison, and also likely because Horses are Odd-toed ungulates, which are classified in a different order than even-toed ungulates like cows, oxen, Deer, etc.

I think Boa's fruit might be Medusa. If Zoan fruits choose their owners, why is she the only sister without a snake fruit? Maybe she ate the Medusa fruit and just hasn't awakened it? Also, Blackbeard -who has extensive knowledge on many Devil Fruits somehow- said that he wanted to take her power. Maybe he knows something about it that we don't? Maybe you don't need to be attracted to the user for it to work, and he knows it could still have a good use for him. If we take the Blackbeard theory into account, there is still 1 more Devil Fruit he could eat. So far he has eating the strongest Logia, the strongest Paramecia, and is likely going to eat a powerful Mythical Zoan fruit if this pattern keeps up. So if he is "likely" (only a theory) going to eat a powerful Mythical Zoan fruit, and he said he wanted Boa's power... Boa Mythical Medusa fruit maybe?

I can see some use in the Jacket Jacket fruit, if one dedicates themselves to play into its strengths. If the user focuses on mastering their armor Haki, they can truly become the ultimate bodyguard, protecting a VIP inside their body. The user is also said to gain the abilities of whoever is wearing them. If this extends to abilities such as haki and devil fruits, the the user could focus entirely on improving their martial arts skill/weapons kills/ observation Haki, while a partner focuses exclusively on training their armor Haki/physical strength. This way the two could work together to form a rather powerful warrior using only half the usual required training. Lastly, this might also be a a useful ability for a combat instructor. Rather than just showing your student a move, you let them wear you and then have their own body perform it.

Et Tu Ohara, Et Tu Ruy means both Dragon and Dinosaur, Oda already clarified this in an interview, the historical reason is that when they first discovered the dinosaur bones they though they were dragons, so after the clarification was made, Ryu obtained both meanings (among many more) so, no Ohara, Ryu means both Dragon and Dinoasur and as Oda explained in that interview, the question being why Kaidos Fruit was the Uo Uo no Mi and no Ryu Ryu no Mi, he explained the previous thing and said that because he had already used the word Ryu to mean Dinosaur (Saur Saur Fruit) he had to move the mythicals Dragons to other animals Edit: also, Spiders are not Insects, they are Arachnid, essentially both start as Anthropods, then the classification diverges as follows (not full 3, just those 2 direct ones Anthropods - Hexapod - Insect (Or Insecta for scientific name) Anthropods - Arachnomorpha - Chelicerata - Arachnid (Or Arachnida for Scientific name)

There's probably only 5 officially recognized ones in the One Piece world and the others are more obscure, or he considers insect and bird Zoans to just be derivatives of each other. Furthermore, a few other Devil Fruits give something approximating flight, with various Logia users like Smoker and Caesar Clown being able to float or levitate thanks to their elemental abilities, and Shiki's fruit allowing him to levitate himself and other objects. So Pell is still objectively incorrect, he just doesn't know it.
