@@domisepic7 Incorrect. That was due to the curse. Rem finds him in this state and kills him out of mercy. Only time Rem killed Subaru was when she smelled the Witches Miasma and attacked him after he left the mansion to try to do a stake-out for the "assassin". Remember, when he had said that, he had no idea it was a curse. He also has a history of being incorrect. Remember when he suspected Frederica because Frederica gave them the necklace? He thought that Frederica had something to do with the assassins attacking the mansions too but he was incorrect then as well because Roswaal admits to hiring the assassins to kill the ones in the mansion.
