Every character has a very small resistance and a weakness to an element. So you can change your abilities to counter it.

What is continuously annoying about games like this is that its been 2 years and they wanna act like changing the energy color on ALL attacks is somehow hard to do. Well, this is something I can actually appreciate in this game in terms of detail. I still won't be buying this in it's current state however. Needs more to it for my purchase, but hope people who are playing are having a good time with it atleast. If I played this, I'd have to go with Darkness or Wind? I like those effects and will definitely have those on a female based character. How many grab based attacks are in this anyways?

For the CAC's, they don't allow too many grab attacks. (Probs cause some of them are kind of broken), but after double checking, (assuming you only want grabs for CACs), there's dragon throw (type A combat style throw), a heavy punch (type Bs), a double kick (type Cs), then actual ability grabs CACs can use are Yusuke's organ murder, Seiya's Rolling Crush, Gon's Jajanken Stance Rock and Shishio's Second secret Sword: Crimson Lotus arm.
